Can I re-use a previous number again?

Can I re-use a previous number again? Sorry. A number can only be used once, hence the temporary number. Once a phone number has been used, it is released back to our carrier. There’s no way for us to request the same number again, or receive an SMS from that same number again.

You don't have the website/app that I'm trying to sign-up on. Can you add it? For most countries we offer the option to use “Other” when your website is not on our list. Please try using “Other” as the service first! While I can’t promise it will be added, if we get enough requests for a particular website, we will add it. Send a support ticket (https://help.mobilesms.io/) and let us know what country the phone number will need to be.

😫 Sorry to hear you are having issues. We have successfully received thousands of SMS verification messages for our clients. If you don’t receive a SMS Verification message with one of our temporary numbers, don’t fret. Request another number and try it again. While not common, you may need to try 2-3 different numbers before you find a number that works with your service. You won’t be charged unless you successfully receive a SMS message. When I request a phone number, a number is not provided for me. I don't get a temporary number assigned to me. Unfortunately this typically means we are out of numbers for that particular country and/or service. We add new numbers constantly, so if the service is out of numbers, just try again in a day or two. It should be added automatically within a few days.
